There’s a high chance that you’ve seen a commercial for Lipozene on TV at some point in recent months. This is a weight-loss product that is making some pretty big promises with regards to losing weight effectively, safely, and permanently.

BTW, check out these articles to see the best products for fast weight loss in 2017:

The main draw with this product is that it’s supposed to be a powerful fat burner that is made from all natural and safe ingredients.

However, does it really deserve your time and money? Find out in this detailed review!

Main Ingredients & The Way Lipozene Formula Works

Lipozene Dosage

Created and released by the Obesity Research Institute, LLC, Lipozene seeks to fulfill its promises to be the only weight loss product you’re ever going to need.

This supplement is based on a single potent weight loss substance – a dietary fiber extracted from Konjac root!

However, here is complete formula:

  1. Konjac Root Extract (Glucomannan)
  2. Gelatin
  3. Microcrystalline Cellulose
  4. Magnesium Silicate
  5. Stearic Acid
  6. Titanium Dioxide
  7. FD&C Blue #1

Pay attention: The Glucomannan is a very effective appetite suppressant that absorbs water and grows within your stomach. It will make you feel full more quickly and hence you will eat less calories.

Lipozene weight loss class action reignites konjac efficacy debate

Lipozene weight loss class action reignites konjac efficacy debate

By Elaine Watson, 19-Jan-2012

A class action complaint has been filed in California alleging that the maker of Lipozene weight loss supplements – which contain glucomannan from konjac root – is making false and misleading claims about their efficacy.

“The legal history of Lipozene’s parent company doesn’t inspire confidence. In 2005, the Obesity Research Institute agreed in a settlement to refund $1.5 million to customers after the Federal Trade Commission charged that ads for its glucomannan supplements Propolene and FiberThin were false and misleading.

Among other things, ads for these products promised dramatic weight loss — more than 2 pounds a week — without diet or exercise.”

Valuable User Feedback & Experience

Great Comment from Kittykat

I have been dieting and exercising for 3 yrs. I went from 311 to 197 then very slowly even though I was still dieting and exercising I began to gain weight. I tried everything and the next thing you know I was back to 216.6. I was so discouraged with myself even though I knew I was doing the right things. I decided to try Lipozene because nothing I did seem to make a difference in my weight.

Within the first week I lost 7.6 lbs. I am on my second week and have already lost another 2 lbs. I drink plenty of water. I buy bottled water and refill the bottle so that I just have to keep up with how many bottles I have had in one day.

I try to drink at least 6 bottles which would be 12 – 8oz cups of water. I agree that the water does help. I will continue to try Lipozene until I feel that it isn’t helping me anymore. I haven’t had any side effects at all and I feel great.

Negative Comment from Bobbi

I’ve tried Lipozene for the past 3 months. I’m 140 pounds and only wanted to lose up 20 pounds to be at my optimal weight. To make a long story short, I took this product exactly as recommended on the website, 2 pills 3 times a day with meals and 8oz of water. I lost exactly ZERO pounds!!!

I also took the MetaboUp they suckered me into buying. I had no side effects, but I didn’t have any more energy than before I started taking these either. I REALLY don’t recommend buying this product. It was a complete waste of money in my opinion.

I will stick to good old fashioned exercise and diet, because if it sounds too good to be true it ALWAYS is…

Great Comment from Beth

Okay, okay, don’t let the suggested recommended dosage scare you! When I was taking it (more than a year ago) I took 2 a day MAXIMUM. The key to getting the most out of Lipozene is to drink a lot of water. The water is what makes the supplement swell, which in turn makes you feel fuller on way less food.

It’s not like other supplements where you feel like your heart is racing. I didn’t feel nervous or anything. It just makes you feel like you’ve eaten a lot. When you sit down to eat you’re not going to be able to finish a regular sized meal. That’s basically how you lose weight.

Although, I would suggest that you also exercise while you’re taking it. Not only will you burn more calories, but you’ll also tone up while you’re losing weight. Good luck to all!

A quick look at most of the customers who are using it right now reveals that it does seem to work for a great number of people with very different outcomes:

  • Some have reported zero results.
  • Others have said that the side effects proved to be more than they could stand.
  • There are reviews that are not necessarily describing Lipozene in the most glowing terms possible.

Pay attention: From what I have seen on the internet, I can say that the majority opinion seems to side with the belief that this product does make you feel full sooner, but does not deliver any incredible weight-loss results!

The Best Place to Buy These Capsules

The product is available through a variety of sources, but your best bet is to purchase it through the official company website called – Lipozene.com or through Amazon.com

You can pick up 2 containers (each has 30 capsules) for about $29.95.

This does not sound like too much but for a 1-month supply you will need 6 containers that will cost you $89.85!

Pay attention: Regardless of where you get it from, you should note that a lot of people have complained about how pricey this fat burner is.

Final Verdict – High Price & Disputable Outcome

To be completely honest with you, I am rather concerned by the various negative user feedback that is available on the internet. Not only that, I believe that paying around $90.00 for a monthly supply is a lot.

Is this the best fat burning product on the market today? The answer to that depends entirely on how well it works for you, and it does vary from one individual to the other. You may also want to consider the idea of eating a healthier diet and take moderate exercise plan!

Hey I have many kinds of lipoze new bottles but haven’t started it yet I just turned 21 this year and would like to know how it works

  • monica

Psyllium(fiber) is the main ingredient should be in an every day plan on losing. I took this product. And bloated. Drink 3-6. Bottles water a day..walk if you can..it will come off.
Posative thinking and determination helps..just do it or sew your mouth shut lol

  • Ceraisian Alchemist

I’ve only been on Lipozene for a week. I haven’t been able to follow directions exactly to a T, but I’ve been taking it once a day to know how it affects me before I start taking a full dose. So far, I have gained 6lbs and have had constipation and gas, though nothing else out of the usual. Hoping Lipozene will start working once I start taking it more often.

I will say this, though, for whomever is looking to start Lipozene and has IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) like I do: BE PREPARED FOR CONSTIPATION AND POSSIBLE IBS FLARE UPS!! (That’s why I’ve only been taking it once a day to get my body acclimated to the pill.)

  • Tiff

I am 20 years old and for my height and age i was considered obese, i tried everything it felt like and was not happy but then found Lipozene and Lipozene worked for me! In my first 3 days i lost 12 pounds, i have had no side effects and have been feeling great with myself! Aftet the first day i didnt notice my appetite decreasing till the next day, now i get fuller quicker before when id eat a meal id always go for seconds, now i dont! I am very happy with my results! I was scared to try because i read reviews, but you gotta remember that everyone is different and your bodys take things different ! All you have to do is give it a try cause its up to u and ur body not others opinions!

  • paul regna

I used Lipozene with terrible side affects and no measurable results. when
i tried to get my 30 day guaranteed money back, they totally LIED and even
though they acknowledge getting the return, they refuse to issue a refund, or
communicate further because they know they are wrong. I have disputed the
transaction with the credit card company and they can deal with them now.
TOTALLY A RIPOFF!! AND HUGE HUGE WASTE OF TIME….!!!!!

  • Maria

Before you buy something it’s always good to do an in-depth research on the product. I wanted to buy it but then I searched: Lipozene Reviews on Google and this page showed up: https://www.rebelmouse.com/lipozene

It looks like a 30 cap bottle will last you only for 5 days since you have to take 6 a day, that will be around $180 a month, not to mention it has terrible side effects.

  • justin sayin

Fasting is the way to go ladies and gentlemen. I drank juices and water and tea, no coffee for 21 days lost 15 pounds. I realize it’s almost impossible for most people to do this but the will power is for you not your family or friends because for how many days you do it, which varies if you start out experimenting a few days at a time, people will still think you are weird. Be sure a week ahead of time you ease into it by eating fruits and salad. Good luck .

  • am

Can you take lipozene and drink energy drinks?? Yes or no??

    • Ceraisian Alchemist

It doesn’t say you can’t. There aren’t added stimulants in Lipozene as far as I can tell.

  • Emily

I purchased Lipozene at Walmart this morning for only $19.99 and it was in a box with two bottles (30cap. each) The same price is also at Walgreens for anyone wanting to save a little money on this! I hope this is helpful! 🙂

  • buckmelanoma

You can purchase glucommanan from an on line vitamin store for a lot less that than $29,99 a bottle of 30.

  • ENCTARHEEL

I take Psyillum Husk for fiber. It is the main ingredient in Metamucil. It will do the same thing as the Lipozene in that it absorbs water. It is good for cleansing the colon. Best thing is it a lot cheaper than all these so called weight lose stuff. Take it about an hour before eating.

  • Taiwaz

Best place to buy is at wall mart, you buy one get one free for $20.00

  • Sarah Boxer

I have tried Lipozene in my endeavors to lose weight. I have had varied degrees of success, but nothing actually took my appetite away, or really even decreased it. Instead of Lipozene, you should try the Lady Soma Detox because it worked for me.

I have not only noticed a drastic decrease in appetite, but when I do eat, I appear to get full much quicker. I also have no more late-night cravings, which is of course a major win. I highly recommend Lady Soma’s Detox for anyone who has experienced the same obstacles.

  • stacy

does anyone know how long you can take lipozene with out actually causing harm

  • Tiffany

can u mix them with yogert i have a hard time taking pills its like they dont want to go down.

  • Jessica

Eat right, smaller meals, 6x a day to keep metabolism running well and exercise. Only real way to lose weight, there’s no such thing as a shortcut or easy way out. Eat foods high in fiber & protein to feel full and retrain your stomach. Greens/veggies are an effective way to bulk up any dish.

    • Kayla

That’s not true, Jessica. Sorry. But I’ve taken these natural pills ( tru vision) before. The only thing I did is drink more water and less food. Didn’t excersise at all. And I lost 30 pounds. Now, even though I’ve lost, I want to lose more but no one is selling tru v any more around where I live so I am trying these. They’re around the same price.

  • Michael

Maybe if something to prove it this mite be a plus, I dought it tho.

    • Emily

might* Doubt* (You shouldn’t act like you know what you’re talking about if you can’t spell these. Nor should you be taking on the responsibility of taking diet pills.)

      • Samantha M

That’s acting likea bitch. Who cares if he doesn’t spells it right that’s how a lot of ppl text now

      • B positive

I often reply in shorthand wen i comment online. I, like Michael try 2 B sure 2 B phonically correct so that everyone understands& thats my only rule. Since U new(lol) he meant might&doubt I am confused about your need 2 critique him.I will assume u were having a bad day&hope things R betr 4 U.

    • B Positive

Well, the kinda fiber in these does help U feel full. But, I’m gonna search other fibers(like psyllium husk fiber) that dont make U constipated & nauseous. I’d like 2 know how well they help U feel full compared 2 the glucommanan fiber in these pills.

  • Michael

Is this approved by the FDA? THEY NEVER SAY ONE THING ABOUT THIS. They must b chicken.

    • ari

NO, there is onlu one weight loss diet pill on the market right now that is approved by the FDA. And thats Ali, but my oppinon, i did not like ali. Goodluck.

  • Linda Brown

CRAP CRAP CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not listen to the commercial !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This does not work!!!!!!!!! Just because people buy from infomercials does not mean it has anything …. It is just a population of people trying to lose weight! ….. DO NOT BELIEVE !!!!!!!

    • Tony Boyd

      Did you try them?

    • Brandi Royal

I have lost about 3lbs in a week and a half while taking them but I also have been semi-dieting and working out and using a fitbit averaging about 10,000 steps a day.

  • Linda Brown

This shit does not work!!!! Do not believe it . I took the 2 bottles I got and lost nothing!

  • Kathleen W

A GRAND WASTE OF MONEY! I went online to order the $29.99 bottle….and ended up with over $140 worth of Lipozene & Metabolup. I thought it would be worth it if I lost the 20 lbs I wanted to lose.
Sadly, I have not only NOT LOST WEIGHT, I’ve GAINED WEIGHT and BLOAT! In addition, I am more tired than I’ve ever been! And, I’m tired (with NO energy at all) consistently, which is frustrating as I have a LOT to do!
I’m exasperated over this whole escapade…DO NOT BUY IT!

    • Linda Brown

      exactly!!!! Do Not Buy!!!!!!!

    • Kayla

We are all different. I’m sorry it didn’t work for you. I got it just yesterday. From Walmart. 2 bottles with 30 pills each for 21.00. If it doesn’t work for me, no money really lost, at all really. I pray it does. I want to lose 30 pounds but there’s more positive comments than negative ones on each site I’ve went to and I’ve been on three so far. I hope you find something that works for you, and sorry about the money!

  • Angela M.

I took lipozene 3 times for 1 day with meals and more than 8 ounces of water each meal and the next morning i woke up and couldnt breathe. My touncils were huge and I couldn’t eat or even drink anything. Onced I stopped taking the lipozene it took 2 weeks for my touncils to go down. I didnt have a cold or fever or runny nose. I felt fine except for my touncils. I lost 8 pounds when I couldn’t eat during those 2 weeks lol.

    • Emily

You were most likely allergic to one of the ingredients in the pill. You should always look at the ingredient list ahead of time. 🙂

  • Marti Gilchrist

If you don’t have to make any lifestyle changes, how can you possible keep the weight off – assuming you lose weight – after you stop taking it? Or does one have to stay on Lipozene for ever?

  • BTBC0147

this product is 100% junk as is skinny fiber

  • Angela Marie Belgard

hi my name is Angela Belgard and I’ve been taking the pills for two days now and my smell towards certain foods smells awful. Does that ever happen for a side effect? Please answer me asap.

  • Marlene Woodward

I have tooken 4 bottles worth so far, I lost 2 pounds with the first bottle. Now I am on bottle 4 and I have gained 4 Pounds. I don’t see the pills working now that I am gaining weight instead of losing it. What is the problem ?

    • Emily

Make sure you are using the pills properly. Also try combining the pill intake with extra water, a healthier diet, and exercise. These pills are to aid in weight loss and they wont work as well all on the own. Hope this helps! 🙂

  • John Coktostin

If you want to try this, just by glucomannan from GNC. It is about 1/10th of the price.

  • osvel

Hi everyone I need advice. .I’ve never taken pills of this type and kinda nervous. ..I’ve been in shape most of my life…but have let myself go within last 6 months I work out normally and plan on taking these pills to help me stop eating so MUCH ….I’m not sure if they will work and I’m worried about the side effects

    • monica

I been taking these for a month.same results and cheaper? fiber!.yes .that simple..i use silium husk in 1/2 a glass of milk to wash it down before i eat..walk as much as you can and drink water all day instead of any juices.. Or shakes..I lost 10 lbs in 30 days

  • David

Wow, works for me. I used it two years ago and lost 23lb.
Now I’m back on it. I’ve been bad through the holidays 🙁
Only thing i did different is I take 1 pill three times a day.
It seems to be all I need. We’re all built different I suppose.

    • Christine Derrel

Your supposed to take 2 pills BEFORE EACH MEAL NOT WITH YOUR MEAL

  • danny

ive tried it but heres what happened to me : i noticed during my bowel moment pills came out undissolved , all 6 of them , i noticed the capsules have high plastic content which is why they havent dissolved , i wouldnt get this if i were you , however getting powder konjac (main ingridient in lipozene) online does help in weight loss , just dont be a moron and think because you are taking weight loss then you can frequent fast food and sodas more often , i noticed if you combine konjac and any colon detox supplements you will double the loss at least in my experience , good luck

    • Christine Derrel

Hey, thanks for sharing your tips regarding Konjac.

      Which bottles do you identify

  • Brenda

I admit that I’ve never tried Lipozene. I don’t know anyone
who has, either. I do know that if you include more fiber in your diet, you
will feel fuller for longer periods of time, and you’ll be eating fewer
calories. Foods that are high in fiber also take longer to eat. I’m not saying
that Lipozene is bad. But I bet if you took it and incorporated a high fiber
diet you’d be able to lose weight just because you’d always feel full.

  • Kai Parker

Hi Christine — I’m a long time reader, first time poster. I appreciate that you always take the time to point out the good points as well as the bad points. Not many weight loss sites are this transparent. Shows that you do have some integrity with your recommendations.

Second, my sister was on Lipozene for a while. I’m pretty sure she took 3 a day. She didn’t really change her eating habits, but she did walk a mile four times a week. She lost about 15 pounds in a couple of months. I wouldn’t say it’s a magic bullet, but since she lost weight I’m inclined to say that it does work.

    • Christine Derrel

Hey Kai, thanks for stopping by and sharing your voice!

today is my first day taking lipozene.. I am hoping for the best. thanks for your advice

  • JoyceJoyner

I tried Lipozene when I was in university. I weighed about 210 at the time. My supposed optimal weight was 160lbs. Like you said, it does make you fuller. It almost felt like I ate a huge meal but I didn’t feel sluggish, lol. Actually, I did feel sluggish at first because I was still eating bad foods, only I was eating less of it. My energy levels went down and that’s when I decided to eat healthier. As a result, I ate foods with fewer fat calories and lost about 30lbs after six months. At that point I got off of it and I surprisingly I still eat very well. I don’t know if my stomach shrunk, but I still tend to feel fuller on smaller portions.

  • Gemma

Holy smokes… $30 for a 5-10 day supply??? You can take 3 capsules a day, or (as the website states) you can take up to 6 a day (2 with each meal) if you want to see faster results.

I’ve seen the commercials for Lipozene, and I even considered checking it out. I would strongly consider it if it were $30 for a full months supply, but I don’t know if I can financially handle this one. I’m curious to see if anyone has tried it here.

    • Annette

Not sure where you live but they sell Lipozene at Walmart two bottle for $20.

      • Sue

        That is correct Annette, Wal-Mart sells a box for $19.97 – $20…that’s 60 capsules (2 bottles) in one box…much cheaper @ Wal-Mart.

        • Curvacious Mom

I bought Lipozene on the advice of a flight attendant friend who had used it in the past to lose weight quickly. I experienced severe diarrhea within 48 hrs of taking the product. Non- stop, crap in ur Oants diarrhea. Stuck in the house for almost 3 days. I am going to lower those dosage (I’m 148 lbs) and also use Hoodia and fiber daily. I already exercise and have lost 21 pounds in 4 1/2 weeks. But, I am on a closely supervised weight loss program where they weigh me and take my bp 3 times a week. I hope I didn’t ‘t waste my money in the Lipozene. I am going to lower the dies and probably take the rest if the supply.
