The main draw with this product is that it’s supposed to be a powerful fat burner that is made from all natural and safe ingredients.
However, does it really deserve your time and money? Find out in this detailed review!
Main Ingredients & The Way Lipozene Formula Works
Created and released by the Obesity Research Institute, LLC, Lipozene seeks to fulfill its promises to be the only weight loss product you’re ever going to need.
This supplement is based on a single potent weight loss substance – a dietary fiber extracted from Konjac root!
However, here is complete formula:
- Konjac Root Extract (Glucomannan)
- Microcrystalline Cellulose
- Magnesium Silicate
- Stearic Acid
- Titanium Dioxide
- FD&C Blue #1
Pay attention: The Glucomannan is a very effective appetite suppressant that absorbs water and grows within your stomach. It will make you feel full more quickly and hence you will eat less calories.
Lipozene weight loss class action reignites konjac efficacy debate
Lipozene weight loss class action reignites konjac efficacy debate
A class action complaint has been filed in California alleging that the maker of Lipozene weight loss supplements – which contain glucomannan from konjac root – is making false and misleading claims about their efficacy.
Bold claims for Lipozene, but not much evidence
“The legal history of Lipozene’s parent company doesn’t inspire confidence. In 2005, the Obesity Research Institute agreed in a settlement to refund $1.5 million to customers after the Federal Trade Commission charged that ads for its glucomannan supplements Propolene and FiberThin were false and misleading.
Among other things, ads for these products promised dramatic weight loss — more than 2 pounds a week — without diet or exercise.”

Valuable User Feedback & Experience
Great Comment from Kittykat
I have been dieting and exercising for 3 yrs. I went from 311 to 197 then very slowly even though I was still dieting and exercising I began to gain weight. I tried everything and the next thing you know I was back to 216.6. I was so discouraged with myself even though I knew I was doing the right things. I decided to try Lipozene because nothing I did seem to make a difference in my weight.
Within the first week I lost 7.6 lbs. I am on my second week and have already lost another 2 lbs. I drink plenty of water. I buy bottled water and refill the bottle so that I just have to keep up with how many bottles I have had in one day.
I try to drink at least 6 bottles which would be 12 – 8oz cups of water. I agree that the water does help. I will continue to try Lipozene until I feel that it isn’t helping me anymore. I haven’t had any side effects at all and I feel great.
Negative Comment from Bobbi
I’ve tried Lipozene for the past 3 months. I’m 140 pounds and only wanted to lose up 20 pounds to be at my optimal weight. To make a long story short, I took this product exactly as recommended on the website, 2 pills 3 times a day with meals and 8oz of water. I lost exactly ZERO pounds!!!
I also took the MetaboUp they suckered me into buying. I had no side effects, but I didn’t have any more energy than before I started taking these either. I REALLY don’t recommend buying this product. It was a complete waste of money in my opinion.
I will stick to good old fashioned exercise and diet, because if it sounds too good to be true it ALWAYS is…
Great Comment from Beth
Okay, okay, don’t let the suggested recommended dosage scare you! When I was taking it (more than a year ago) I took 2 a day MAXIMUM. The key to getting the most out of Lipozene is to drink a lot of water. The water is what makes the supplement swell, which in turn makes you feel fuller on way less food.
It’s not like other supplements where you feel like your heart is racing. I didn’t feel nervous or anything. It just makes you feel like you’ve eaten a lot. When you sit down to eat you’re not going to be able to finish a regular sized meal. That’s basically how you lose weight.
Although, I would suggest that you also exercise while you’re taking it. Not only will you burn more calories, but you’ll also tone up while you’re losing weight. Good luck to all!
A quick look at most of the customers who are using it right now reveals that it does seem to work for a great number of people with very different outcomes:
- Some have reported zero results.
- Others have said that the side effects proved to be more than they could stand.
- There are reviews that are not necessarily describing Lipozene in the most glowing terms possible.
Pay attention: From what I have seen on the internet, I can say that the majority opinion seems to side with the belief that this product does make you feel full sooner, but does not deliver any incredible weight-loss results!
The Best Place to Buy These Capsules
The product is available through a variety of sources, but your best bet is to purchase it through the official company website called – Lipozene.com or through Amazon.com
You can pick up 2 containers (each has 30 capsules) for about $29.95.
This does not sound like too much but for a 1-month supply you will need 6 containers that will cost you $89.85!
Pay attention: Regardless of where you get it from, you should note that a lot of people have complained about how pricey this fat burner is.
Final Verdict – High Price & Disputable Outcome
To be completely honest with you, I am rather concerned by the various negative user feedback that is available on the internet. Not only that, I believe that paying around $90.00 for a monthly supply is a lot.
Is this the best fat burning product on the market today? The answer to that depends entirely on how well it works for you, and it does vary from one individual to the other. You may also want to consider the idea of eating a healthier diet and take moderate exercise plan!
